With the victory, Freedom improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host South Caldwell (Hudson, NC) to play the Spartans in a 3A/4A Conference 52 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. South Caldwell lost 51-44 in their recent league challenge against Watauga (Boone, NC)

Next up, the Panthers play the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 52 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Hibriten will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 53-40 league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
