The North Pocono Trojans basketball team (Covington Township, PA), was nudged 50-43 in Friday's league battle with the host Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA)

The Hornets now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delaware Valley for a Lackawanna 2 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Honesdale will battle a Warriors team coming off a 48-40 league loss to Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-2.

The Trojans (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Scranton Prep was nudged by Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA), 66-51, in a league battle.
