The James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA) basketball felled the visiting West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA), 67-48 in Friday's league test.

The Rockets (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Bermudian Springs (York Springs, PA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Bermudian Springs thwarted Hanover (Hanover, PA), 38-34, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Shippensburg for a Mid-Penn - Colonial test on Tuesday, January 10. West Perry will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 55-42 non-league loss to Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 5-5.
