The Lake Forest Academy Caxys basketball team (Lake Forest, IL), was routed 59-35 in Friday's league battle with the host Latin Romans (Chicago, IL)

The Romans now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elgin Academy for a Independent School battle on Tuesday, January 10. Latin will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 54-42 non-league win over Schaumburg Christian (Schaumburg, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 10-8.

The Caxys (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Morgan Park Academy (Chicago, IL). The Warriors come into the Independent School battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Morgan Park Academy was routed by Hubbard (Chicago, IL), 61-32, in a non-league battle.
