North Carolina High School Basketball - Lee County knocked off by Pinecrest

The Pinecrest Patriots basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Lee County Yellow Jackets to 57 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoke County for a 3A/4A Conference 24 contest on Friday, January 13.

The Yellow Jackets (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders enter the 3A/4A Conference 24 contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Richmond ran past Union Pines (Cameron, NC), 70-19, in a league contest.
