Virginia High School Basketball - Loudoun Valley can't hold off Loudoun County

The Loudoun County Captains basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Loudoun Valley Vikings to 52 in the Captains league victory on Friday.

The Captains now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dominion for a Dulles contest on Monday, January 9. Loudoun County will battle a Titans team coming off a 61-59 non-league loss to Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA). The Titans record now stands at 3-9.

The Vikings (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Broad Run (Ashburn, VA). The Spartans come into the Dulles contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Broad Run edged Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA), 64-51, in a non-league contest.
