Illinois High School Basketball - Naperville North can't hold off Metea Valley

The Metea Valley Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Naperville North Huskies to 47 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taft for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Metea Valley will battle a Eagles team coming off a 62-61 non-league loss to IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 11-5.
The Huskies (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lindblom (Chicago, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Lindblom nudged Schurz (Chicago, IL), 69-50, in a non-league contest.
