The Zion Christian Mountaineers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders to 37 in the Mountaineers non-league victory on Friday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Michigan Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12.

The Crusaders (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Holton (Holton, MI). The Red Devils come into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Holton was defeated by Buckley (Buckley, MI), 77-35, in a non-league contest.
