Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Steel Valley can't hold off Our Lady of the Sacred Heart

The Steel Valley Ironmen basketball team (Munhall, PA), was nudged 71-66 in Friday's league battle with the host Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA)
The Chargers now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Park for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart will battle a Eagles team coming off a 42-33 league win over Brentwood (Pittsburgh, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.
The Ironmen (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Sto-Rox (McKees Rocks, PA). The Vikings come into the WPIAL 3A 2 battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Sto-Rox was nudged by Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA), 54-47, in a league battle.
