The Paragould Rams basketball team (Paragould, AR), was nudged 65-63 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Searcy Lions (Searcy, AR)
The Lions now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Memphis for a 5A East battle on Tuesday, January 10. Searcy will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 48-38 league loss to Marion (Marion, AR). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-9.
The Rams (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Valley View (Jonesboro, AR). The Blazers come into the 5A East battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Valley View edged Batesville (Batesville, AR), 57-44, in a league battle.
