Minnesota High School Basketball - Simley knocked off by St. Thomas Academy

The St. Thomas Academy Cadets basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Simley Spartans to 51 in the Cadets league triumph on Friday.
The Cadets now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Byron for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. St. Thomas Academy will battle a Bears team coming off a 64-60 non-league win over New Prague (New Prague, MN). The Bears record now stands at 4-3.
The Spartans (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Tartan (Oakdale, MN). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Tartan was defeated by Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN), 60-59, in a non-league contest.
