The West Point Green Wave basketball team (West Point, MS), was nudged 52-46 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Starkville Yellowjackets (Starkville, MS)
The Yellowjackets now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Biloxi for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. Starkville will battle a Indians team coming off a 74-73 league win over Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS). The Indians record now stands at 13-1.
