In Friday's non-league outing, the Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers (Convent Station, NJ) basketball squad beat the host Villa Walsh Academy Vikings (Morristown, NJ), by a margin of 39-20.

The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ). The Tigers go into the Northwest Jersey - Independence outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Hackettstown defeated Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ), 53-45, in a non-league outing.

The Vikings now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Mountain Lakes for a Freelance outing on Tuesday, January 10. Villa Walsh Academy will clash with a Lakers squad coming off a 47-31 non-league loss to Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ). The Lakers record now stands at 2-4.
