The Essex Hornets basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets to 40 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellows Free Academy for a Metro contest on Saturday, January 7. Essex will battle a Bobwhites/Comets team coming off a 54-40 league loss to Essex (Essex Junction, VT). The Bobwhites/Comets record now stands at 1-7.
The Bobwhites/Comets (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Essex (Essex Junction, VT). The Hornets enter the Metro contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Essex ran past Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT), 54-40, in a league contest.
