In Friday's league match, the host Cave Spring Knights basketball team scored a good 57-37 triumph over the Salem Spartans.
In their next game, the Knights meet the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 7. Cave Spring will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Buffaloes enter the match with a 8-2 record after their 57-22 league win over Alleghany (Covington, VA).
