The Minarets Mustangs tipped the host Chowchilla Tribe basketball team by a final score of 26-25 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Liberty Hawks (Madera, CA) in a Northwest Sequoia game, on Wednesday, January 11. Minarets will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 3-9 record after their 53-5 league loss to Fresno Christian (Fresno, CA).

With the defeat, Chowchilla moves to 1-13 on the year. The Tribe travel to Sierra (Tollhouse, CA) to face the Chieftains in a Northwest Sequoia game on Tuesday, January 10. The Chieftains enter the game with a record of 15-2. Sierra won 81-17 in their recent league game against Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA)
