Fannindel Falcons (Ladonia, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ector Eagles (Ector, TX), 53-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Fannindel upgrades its record to 1-6 on the season. The Falcons host Miller Grove (Cumby, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a 1A Region III District 23 bout on Friday, January 13. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 4-12.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Savoy Cardinals (Savoy, TX) in a 1A Region III District 23 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Ector will attempt to upgrade on its 0-21 season record.
