In Friday's league outing, the Sheridan Yellowjackets (Sheridan, AR) basketball squad edged the visiting El Dorado Wildcats (El Dorado, AR), by a count of 61-60.
The Yellowjackets (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeside (Hot Springs, AR). The Rams go into the 5A South outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, Lakeside held off Lake Hamilton (Pearcy, AR), 34-33, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hot Springs for a 5A South outing on Wednesday, January 11.
