North Carolina High School Basketball - Enka can't hold off McDowell

The McDowell Titans basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Enka Jets to 52 in the Titans league triumph on Friday.
The Titans now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Asheville for a 3A/4A Conference 53 contest on Tuesday, January 10. McDowell will battle a Cougars team coming off a 59-43 league win over T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 14-0.
The Jets (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Black Hawks enter the 3A/4A Conference 53 contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, North Buncombe nudged Mitchell (Bakersville, NC), 48-45, in a non-league contest.
