The Hays Hawks (Buda, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Rouse Raiders (Leander, TX), 68-22 in Friday's league test.
The Hawks (25-3) will now prepare for their test against Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX). The Panthers go into the 5A Region IV District 25 test with a 22-5 record. In their last test, Liberty Hill walloped Lockhart (Lockhart, TX), 55-24, in a league test.
The Raiders now own a 8-17 record. They play next when they host Glenn for a 5A Region IV District 25 test on Tuesday, January 10. Rouse will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 46-44 league win over Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX). The Grizzlies record now stands at 19-4.
