The Hays Hawks basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Rouse Raiders to 18 in the Hawks league triumph on Monday.
The Hawks now sport a 33-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lehman for a 5A Region IV District 25 contest on Wednesday, February 8. Hays will battle a Lobos team coming off a 56-34 league loss to Lockhart (Lockhart, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 2-24.
The Raiders (10-23) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX). The Timberwolves enter the 5A Region IV District 25 contest with a 16-16 record. In their last contest, Cedar Park was routed by Glenn (Leander, TX), 60-52, in a league contest.
