The Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) basketball crushed the visiting West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC), 49-14 in Friday's league test.
The Titans (1-10) will now prepare for their test against South Columbus (Tabor City, NC). The Stallions go into the 1A/2A Conference 5 test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, South Columbus was trounced by Pender (Burgaw, NC), 48-30, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Whiteville for a 1A/2A Conference 5 test on Tuesday, January 10. West Columbus will encounter a Wolfpack squad coming off a 3-1 league win over East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 4-7.
