In Friday's league outing, the Sutton Sammies (Sutton, MA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Nipmuc Regional Warriors (Upton, MA), by a count of 52-27.

The Sammies (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Douglas (Douglas, MA). The Tigers go into the Dual Valley outing with a 0-7 record. In their last outing, Douglas was crushed by Blackstone-Millville (Blackstone, MA), 49-13, in a league outing.

The Warriors now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hopedale for a Dual Valley contest on Wednesday, January 11. Nipmuc Regional will battle a Blue Raiders team coming off a 48-29 league win over Whitinsville Christian (Whitinsville, MA). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 3-3.
