Nipmuc Regional Warriors (Upton, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sutton Sammies (Sutton, MA), 37-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Nipmuc Regional upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Blackstone Valley RVT (Upton, MA) to play the Beavers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 13. The Beavers come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Blackstone Valley RVT lost 50-34 in their recent non-league bout against Hudson (Hudson, MA)

Next up, the Sammies play the Maynard Tigers (Maynard, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 13. Sutton will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record.
