The West Holt Huskies basketball team (Atkinson, NE), was toppled 40-31 in Friday's league battle with the host Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats (Clearwater, NE)

The Bobcats now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Creighton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-37 league loss to Boyd County (Spencer, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-9.

The Huskies (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Elkhorn Valley (Tilden, NE). The Falcons come into the C2 District 10 battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Elkhorn Valley beat Norfolk Catholic (Norfolk, NE), 42-39, in a non-league battle.
