With the victory, Middle Creek upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Apex Friendship (Apex, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 13-0. Apex Friendship won 61-37 in their recent league bout against Cary (Cary, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Apex will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record.
