With the victory, Weddington improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Porter Ridge lost 34-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Piedmont will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record.
