The Jefferson Democrats basketball team (Portland, OR), was nudged 58-56 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Benson Tech Techmen (Portland, OR)
The Techmen now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin for a 6A Portland battle on Tuesday, January 9. Benson Tech will battle a Quakers team coming off a 67-43 league win over McDaniel (Portland, OR). The Quakers record now stands at 5-6.
The Democrats (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Wells (Portland, OR). The Guardians come into the 6A Portland battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Wells was nudged by Roosevelt (Portland, OR), 69-43, in a league battle.
