The Jefferson Democrats basketball team (Portland, OR), was nudged 63-56 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Benson Tech Techmen (Portland, OR)
The Techmen now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin for a 6A Portland battle on Thursday, February 8. Benson Tech will battle a Quakers team coming off a 64-56 league win over McDaniel (Portland, OR). The Quakers record now stands at 7-11.
The Democrats (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Wells (Portland, OR). The Guardians come into the 6A Portland battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, Wells was nudged by Roosevelt (Portland, OR), 89-63, in a league battle.
