The Hillhouse Academics basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting North Haven Nighthawks to 54 in the Academics league victory on Saturday.

The Academics now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Xavier for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Hillhouse will battle a Falcons team coming off a 77-49 league win over Law (Milford, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 6-1.

The Nighthawks (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT). The Trojans come into the Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Lyman Hall was nudged by Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT), 84-35, in a non-league contest.
