In Saturday's league match, the host Oologah Mustangs basketball team scored a tight 59-53 triumph over the Vinita Hornets.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 9. Oologah will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 61-36 non-league win over Summit Christian Academy (Broken Arrow, OK).
