In Saturday's non-league outing, the Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Kimball Longhorns (Kimball, NE), by a margin of 54-22.

The Longhorns (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Southern Valley (Oxford, NE). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 12-1 record. In their last outing, Southern Valley smashed Centennial (Utica, NE), 53-43, in a non-league outing.
