The Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) basketball knocked off the visiting Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME), 50-32 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Winslow (Winslow, ME). The Black Raiders go into the non-league test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Winslow went down by Morse (Bath, ME), 49-28, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Belfast for a non-league test on Monday, January 8. Lincoln Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 47-43 non-league win over Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Lions record now stands at 6-1.
