In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) basketball squad beat the visiting Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME), by a count of 53-42.
The Eagles (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Morse (Bath, ME). The Shipbuilders go into the B South outing with a 2-15 record. In their last outing, Morse was topped by Erskine Academy (South China, ME), 49-39, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Winslow for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 8. Mount View will clash with a Black Raiders squad coming off a 98-37 non-league loss to Oceanside (Rockland, ME). The Black Raiders record now stands at 1-16.
