The Riceville Wildcats basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Northwood-Kensett Vikings to 41 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwood-Kensett for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Riceville will battle a Vikings team coming off a 59-40 non-league loss to Osage (Osage, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-7.
The Vikings (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Riceville (Riceville, IA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 12-0 record. In their last contest, Riceville ran past Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA), 48-31, in a non-league contest.
