The Wallace County Wildcats basketball team (Sharon Springs, KS), was nudged 47-44 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Rawlins County Buffaloes (Atwood, KS)
The Buffaloes now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Triplains/Brewster for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 9. Rawlins County will battle a Titans team coming off a 47-30 league loss to Cheylin (Bird City, KS). The Titans record now stands at 1-4.
The Wildcats (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Greeley County (Tribune, KS). The Jackrabbits come into the Northwest Kansas battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Greeley County edged Northern Valley (Almena, KS), 55-31, in a non-league battle.
