West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA), 63-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Valley upgrades its record to 15-0 on the season. The Eagles host Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Red Bluff lost 71-25 in their recent league bout against Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA)

Next up, the Grizzlies clash with the Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Lassen will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Cubs go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 26-12 non-league win over Wheatland (Wheatland, CA).
