The Berkeley Yellowjackets basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Piedmont Highlanders to 28 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Saturday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Leandro for a contest on Wednesday, January 10. Berkeley will battle a Pirates team coming off a 66-59 league win over St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-3.
The Highlanders (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Alameda (Alameda, CA). The Hornets enter the contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Alameda triumphed over Encinal (Alameda, CA), 66-42, in a non-league contest.
