The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT) and the host U-32 Raiders (Montpelier, VT), observed Montpelier's basketball team overwhelm U-32 by a margin of 99-44.

The Solons (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT). The Vikings come into the Capital challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Lyndon Institute trounced Colchester (Colchester, VT), 48-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT) in a Capital challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. U-32 will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 58-56 non-league win over Spaulding (Barre, VT).
