The Pequannock Golden Panthers basketball squad (Pompton Plains, NJ), was nudged 49-42 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ)
With the victory, Morristown-Beard advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Crimson travel to Weequahic (Newark, NJ) to meet the Indians in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 11. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 4-3.
The Golden Panthers now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boonton for a Northwest Jersey - Independence battle on Wednesday, January 8. Pequannock will meet a Bombers squad coming off a 48-41 non-league win over Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ). The Bombers record now stands at 3-3.
