Iowa High School Basketball - Forest City tops Lake Mills

Forest City Indians (Forest City, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA), 53-40 in a league bout.
With the victory, Forest City upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 8. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Clear Lake won 63-24 in their recent non-league bout against Webster City (Webster City, IA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the West Hancock Eagles (Britt, IA) in a North Iowa bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Lake Mills will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 53-52 non-league loss to Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA).
