Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA) and the visiting Forest City Indians (Forest City, IA), saw Lake Mills's basketball squad hold off Forest City by a tally of 47-46.
With the victory, Lake Mills improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to North Union (Armstrong, IA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-1.
Next up, the Indians confront the Belmond-Klemme Broncos (Belmond, IA) in a North Iowa challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Forest City will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 55-33 non-league win over Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA).
