The Tennessee Vikings topped the host Abingdon Falcons basketball team by a final score of 72-61 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN) in a 3A District 1 game, on Tuesday, January 10. Tennessee will attempt to move on its 14-3 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 14-4 record after their 70-46 league win over Volunteer (Church Hill, TN).
With the defeat, Abingdon moves to 8-4 on the year. The Falcons host John Battle (Bristol, VA) to face the Trojans in a Mountain game on Friday, January 13. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 6-5.
