In their next game, the Trojans face the El Dorado Wildcats (El Dorado, AR) in a 5A South game, on Tuesday, January 10. Hot Springs will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 3-11 record after their 60-47 league loss to Sheridan (Sheridan, AR).

With the defeat, Benton moves to 5-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Lakeside (Hot Springs, AR) to face the Rams in a 5A South game on Friday, January 20. The Rams enter the game with a record of 7-11.
