Hot Springs Trojans (Hot Springs, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Benton Panthers (Benton, AR), 58-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hot Springs upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to El Dorado (El Dorado, AR) to play the Wildcats in a 5A South bout on Friday, February 10. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 4-14. El Dorado won 62-51 in their recent league bout against Arkansas (Texarkana, AR)

Next up, the Panthers play the Pine Bluff Zebras (Pine Bluff, AR) in a 5A South bout, on Friday, February 10. Benton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Zebras come into the bout with a 18-6 record after their 78-58 league win over White Hall (White Hall, AR).
