Nevada High School Basketball - Tonopah knocked off by Lund

The Lund Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Tonopah Muckers to 31 in the Mustangs league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beatty for a 1A Central contest on Friday, January 13.

The Muckers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV). The Serpents enter the 1A Central contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Mineral County ran past Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV), 61-46, in a league contest.
