California High School Basketball - Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning thwarts Futures

The Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning Fire Wolves (Nevada City, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Futures Knights (Sacramento, CA), 31-23 in Saturday's league test.

The Fire Wolves (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Encina Prep (Sacramento, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Central Valley California League test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Encina Prep went down by Forest Lake Christian (Auburn, CA), 52-13, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Western Sierra Collegiate Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 11.
