The Newcomerstown Trojans basketball team (Newcomerstown, OH), dropped 68-51 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Malvern Hornets (Malvern, OH)
The Hornets now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catholic Central for a non-league battle on Monday, January 9. Malvern will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 37-17 non-league loss to Southern (Salineville, OH). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-6.
The Trojans (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Ridgewood (West Lafayette, OH). The Generals come into the Inter-Valley battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Ridgewood beat Sandy Valley (Magnolia, OH), 42-26, in a league battle.
