Georgia High School Basketball - Model trounces North Murray

The Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) basketball crushed the visiting North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA), 58-29 in Saturday's league test.
The Blue Devils (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Warriors go into the AA Region 7 test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Gordon Central was trounced by North Murray (Chatsworth, GA), 57-23, in a league test.
The Mountaineers now own a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Rockmart for a AA Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 10. North Murray will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 84-23 league loss to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-11.
