Georgia High School Basketball - Thomas County Central ripped by Tift County

The Tift County Blue Devils basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets to 36 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Saturday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colquitt County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Tift County will meet a Packers team coming off a 37-36 league loss to Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA). The Packers record now stands at 8-6.

The Yellow Jackets (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA). The Bearcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-15 record. In their last contest, Bainbridge was routed by Shaw (Columbus, GA), 54-46, in a league contest.
